If you flatten it you can have more functional use of the wood structure as a nice place to enjoy shade! There is a company in San Diego you should talk to Envision Solar. They specialize in beautiful PV shade structures, yours would be awesome with their tweaking (I’m an architect).

Now, that looks really cool. Never thought a solar energy set up could be so functionally attractive! Great wood-work on the framing.
Can you email me for an estimate on my house please? We have a swimming pool and spa, next to the vineyard. This set up would be perfect. Need design and cost information please.
