Solar is not just for the rich and famous these days with all of the state rebates and 30% federal tax credit available. Not to mention all of the new low, up front cost financing now available. (See my Cash Poor, Solar Rich series of Posts.)
But it’s interesting to note how it’s not just Ed Begley, jr who has put solar panels on their homes. Recently, the Vatican announced that it had installed solar panels on one of their big meeting places. That’s right. The Pope has gone solar.
But beyond Ed and his Holiness, there are many, many other confirmed celebrities who have gone solar through BP Solar’s Solar Neighbor Program, which gives away a solar installation to low income people when a celebrity buys solar through BP. Here’s a list of all the solar celebrities so far:
