Has anyone received a 1099-G from their state for the amount of the rebate that was received? I have a tax client that received a 1099-G from Illinois calling it a "grant". I think the form was erroneously filed by the state. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

Have you came across a state by state ranking of "best over-all rebate, tax credit, and incentives" I know many are similar, but wonder which states are the top 5.

Top 10 states with the most sunshine?

Top 10 states with the highest energy cost?

I have an idea of the above, but wonder if there has been something more formal printed recently?

Thanks, you website is amazing, great work!
