dunkin donuts 3 Dunkin' Solar?
According to the Boston Globe, Dunkin’ Donuts, the purveyor of round delicious coffee dunkable treats, is opening up 3 stores with solar power.

Solar Fred thinks this is a good idea. It not only will attract customers for their commitment to the environment, but will also save the stores operating costs during peak energy usage times when the electric rates are highest.

If you’re a small business, follow the Dunkin’ Donuts lead through finding a PPA company that will take care of much of the upfront costs and give you your solar energy on a price per watt basis that is LOWER than your utility’s rate. Go Dunkin’. Go Solar.
